The Lighting Research Center (LRC) is    part of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute    of Troy, N.Y., and is the leading    university-based research center    devoted to lighting. Mr. O'Rourke is a technical director at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lighting Research Center, and director of the LRC's National Lighting Product Information Program (NLPIP).
